Amazon has officially opened up its virtual doors to those wanting to pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 just several days after a mass leak which revealed everything from the locations you'll visit to the actual ending of the game; Infinity Ward's Creative Strategist, Robert Bowling, has since stated on Twitter that only a part of the leaked information is accurate. A teaser trailer for Modern Warfare 3 was also officially released by Activision shortly after.
Now it appears that we may have a date for when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released; according to Amazon US, said date will be November 8, 2011. Also, the online retailer is now also allowing users to pre-order the title. The price given is $59.99, and the platforms listed are the usual: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It's not known at this time if the Wii will be getting its own version like in previous installments.
